Winterboard for iOS 7 Finally Updated. Now Supports iPhone 5S

Well the wait is now over as WinterBoard for iOS 7 is finally updated. The new WinterBoard iOS 7 version now support iPhone 5S and other 64 Bit devices like iPad Mini and iPad Air.


Jay Freeman also know as Saurik has finally wrapped the covers off the WinterBoard iOS 7 version and released it for public today. Since the iOS 7 jailbreak was very unexpected and even Saurik didn’t know about its release so he wasn’t able to update his famous WinterBoard Cydia tweak to work fully with iOS 7.


Winterboard for iOS 7 Finally Updated

After iOS 7 jailbreak was released, Saurik told users that he is working on new versions of Cydia and Winterboard. Cydia for iOS 7 was released few weeks ago and today Saurik released the WinterBoard iOS 7 cydia tweak which now also supports iPhone 5S, iPad Mini and iPad Air running on iOS 7. Not only WinterBoard for iOS 7 got update but also he released update for Cydia substrate for iOS 7 to fix the bugs.

WinterBoard 0.9.3912 (just released) runs on iOS 7 and seems compatible with ARM64; theme artists are encourages to report any crashes/bugs.

How to Get WinterBoard for OS 7

In order to get hands on WinterBoard iOS 7, head over to cydia and search for WinterBoard there and install it. (Make sure your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch is fully jailbroken and have Cydia installed on it) Once installation is done, you will see blue WinterBoard icon on your Homescreen. Tap on it to launch WinterBoard for iOS 7 Updated and enjoy new themes and mods on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
