Recently a developer named randomblame has released Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean based custom ROM called JellyTime for HTC Desire HD.

Guide to Update HTC Desire HD to Jelly Bean Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean ROM
First you need to download the JellyTime Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean custom ROM for HTC Desire HD.
When download is completed, place the download zip folder on your desktop. Next connect your phone to your PC through USB cable and transfer the download zip to your phone SD card.
Now turn OFF your phone and move it to recovery mode by pressing and holding “Volume Up + Home + Power Buttons” for few seconds.
In recovery mode, select “Wipe data/Factory reset” option to erase the previous ROM. Once done, perform a cache wipe by selecting “Wipe Cache partition” partition.
Now go back to main recovery window and select Advance and then select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” to perform Dalvik cache wiping.
Again go to main recovery menu and select “Install ZIP from sdcard” followed by selecting “Choose zip from sdcard” and browse for the package you have just transferred to your phone SD card. Installation process will start now.
Once installation is done, select “reboot system now” from main recovery window to reboot your smartphone.
