In order to transfer or sync songs to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, iTunes is the only option (by default). This can be very annoying sometimes since you will have to sync all your iTunes music library with your iDevice even if you want to transfer a single song. Keeping this problem in mind, we are going to guide iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users to sync or transfer songs to iPhone without iTunes Library.
Guide to Sync or Transfer Songs to iPhone Without iTunes Library
There are many ways to transfer songs or any other files to iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad without using iTunes library. We have shared few of them in details below for our readers.
First of all connect your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your Computer and launch iTunes. In the sidebar of iTunes you will see your iDevice name which is connected to your PC. Click on it and you will be taken to the “Summary” tab. Scroll down to “Options” there and check the option “Manually manage music and videos”.
After checking this option, you don’t need to add music to iTunes library first before transferring it you to your iPhone. Next open the folder where the songs (which you want to transfer to your iPhone) are located. Select the songs and then simply drag and drop it to the device name in iTunes. This will start the syncing process and it will be completed after a while. Once it is completed, open the “Music” App on your iPhone to see the song you have transferred.
This method is handy only if you want to transfer only few songs or files to your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. If you have a lot of songs or files that needs to be transferred to your iPhone, then better to use the third party app.
