Bring Back Spotlight Search to iOS 7 with AnySpot Cydia App

Since the release of iOS 7 jailbreak, we have been observing that lot of developers are releasing new cydia apps daily to allow iPhone or iPad users get most out of their iDevices. Today we found another cool cydia tweak that will bring spotlight search back to iOS 7.


Apple included lot of new features in iOS 7 and at the same time they have removed lot of iOS 6 features like they removed share to facebook and twitter buttons from notification center but thanks to jailbreak community for releasing cydia tweak to add share to facebook and twitter button to iOS 7 notification center. Today we will tell you about another cydia tweak which will allow you to bring back spotlight search to iOS 7.


By default users can get access to search in iOS 7 by swiping down gesture on springboard. A new cydia tweak anyspot will totally change the behavior of spotlight search in iOS 7 and you will be able to get spotlight search like iOS 6 in iOS 7.

Thanks to cydia developers Zac for releasing an awesome cydia tweak called anyspot which will enable system wide spotlight search on iOS 7 powered iPhone, iPad or iPod. So it means that users would be able to access the spotlight from any app in iOS. This cydia tweak is must have as it allows you to quickly search for the stuff you want to without closing the app your are currently using. Anyspot doesn’t support landscape mode at the moment but it is expected that support for landscape mode and lockscreen would be added very soon.

This cool cydia tweak is available in cydia under the bigboss repository for just $0.99 and supports all the iDevices running on iOS 7.
