Procedure to Install Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Y S5360

Download the JellyBlast V3 Custom ROM and place it on your desktop.

Now connect your phone to your PC through USB cable and then transfer the download package to your device SD card. Done with that? OK, now you need to turn OFF your smartphone and get it in recovery mode.

Once your phone is turned OFF, press and hold “Volume Up + Home + Power Buttons” for few seconds until you see Android logo.

Once you phone is in recovery mode, select “Wipe data/Factory reset” option to erase the previous ROM. When it is done, perform a cache wipe by selecting “Wipe Cache partition” partition.

Go to main recovery window and select Advance and then select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” to perform Dalvik cache wiping. Now go back to main screen again.

Next you need to start installation of the custom ROM. For that select “Install ZIP from sdcard” followed by selecting “Choose zip from sdcard” and browse for the package you have just transferred to your phone SD card.

Installation will begin now and it will take few minutes. Once done, go back to main recovery window and select “reboot system now”.
